What UNTAG Does for the Community
At UNTAG, we believe that supporting the LGBTQIA+ community goes beyond offering gender-affirming products. We aim to make a positive impact by dedicating our knowledge, resources, and time to initiatives that strengthen the community. Here’s an overview of what we do:
1. Present at Community Events and Markets
We regularly attend markets and events to showcase our products, share knowledge, and connect with the people we support. It’s important for us to hear what you need and how we can contribute.
Some examples of events where UNTAG has been present include:
- Pride Zwolle via COC
- Rainbow Pride Market - Vondelpark
- Queertopia
- Workshop Pride Hub in Amsterdam
2. Donations to Foundations and Individuals
We support foundations that work on inclusivity and well-being within the LGBTQIA+ community by donating products and financial assistance. Additionally, we help individuals in need of gender-affirming products, ensuring that financial barriers don’t stand in the way.

4. Collaborations with Educational Institutions
We’ve partnered with institutions such as the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen on projects promoting inclusivity and gender-affirming care. We also taught a course at the University of Pforzheim focused on designing gender-affirming accessories.
5. Discount Delight Boxes
To make gender-affirming products more accessible, we regularly offer surprise boxes at reduced prices. These boxes are filled with products tailored to meet the needs of our customers.
6. Sponsorship of Projects
We sponsor community projects and events with gift cards to support organizations making a difference within the LGBTQIA+ community.
For example, we’ve collaborated with projects from ASV Gay Amsterdam, Enkhuizen Got Drag Talent, and the Queer Film Festival in Bremen.
7. People and Stories from the Community
Through our blog series People UNTAGGED, we share inspiring stories from people in the community. We also highlight collaborations, such as our work with Queer Gym Rotterdam.
