You’ve just received your new Double Sided Transparent Tape, amazing! To help you, we’ve gathered some tips & tricks about the tape.

Instruction

Before you’re going to apply the tape, we advise you to apply a teststrip. This way you can make sure you’re not allergic to the material. Take a small piece of tape and stick it to a patch of clean and dry skin. Leave this test strip on for 24 to 48 hours, then remove it. Check regularly during that time for any irritation. If any irritation occurs, immediately remove the tape and consult a doctor.

Use

You can use this tape to attach breast prosthetics to your body. When applying or removing, handle with care to avoid damaging the prosthesis and your skin. We recommend using the Double Sided Transparent Tape together with our Prosthesis Pockets. This helps protect your skin and extends the lifespan of your breast prostheses. Using the tape directly on the prostheses without pockets may cause the silicone surface to wear out faster.

The Double Sided Transparent Tape is designed for safe skin contact and smooth use. The tape can also be used as fashion tape. Apply the sticky side to your skin first, then peel off the top layer. 

Take the tape off before showering and sleeping. If you’re experiencing any skin irritation, remove the tape as soon as possible. 

Removing Double Sided Transparent Tape

Pay attention that most irritation will occur when the tape is removed incorrectly. To remove it in the correct way, rub the tape in with some natural oil. This oil can be any type of neutral oil, a good option is Jojoba-oil. Leave the oil on the tape for a few minutes and peel the tape off slowly. You can also do this in the shower. 

 

Storing

Store the Medical Tape in a dry and cool place. Do not leave it in sunlight.
