Details

The Medical Binder is an adjustable binder that compresses the chest. This binder is medically approved and can be used safely after a top surgery. The binder helps counteract the swelling of the chest and promotes healing of the scars. This decreases the risk of oedema. This binder can be adjusted to size, depending on the amount of swelling.

The Medical Binder is also great for those who have medical conditions that affect breathing or who have sensory issues. The binder is made from a mesh material that moves with the body. Consequently, the lungs and ribs remain unobstructed, enabling freedom of movement. The seams of this top are hidden for ultimate comfort.

The Medical Binder has a short fit and a hook and eye closure on the front. The shoulder straps also have hook and eye closure. This ensures the safest fit after a mastectomy.

Designed and developed in Amsterdam, responsibly produced in Europe.

Composition

67% polyamide and 33% elastane.

Care Instructions

Wash separately before first use. Use a short cycle. Machine washable (max. 30°C), preferably in a laundry bag. Air dry only – do NOT tumble dry.

Our model Chris (short dark hair) wears the Medical Binder white in size M. Chris has a bust of 83 cm, underbust of 74cm, a waist of 70 cm and is 174 cm tall.

Our model Lo (curly hair) wears the Medical Binder white in size XS. Lo has a bust of 982 cm, underbust of 67, a waist of 58 cm and is 163 cm tall.

Allergies & Safety

It’s very important that you always wear your binder in the correct size. If you’re unsure about your size, contact our customer service. We will gladly advise you. If you’re starting out with binders we recommend building up the time that you wear them. Start with 2 hours, the next day 3 hours, and so on. Build this up to a maximum of 8 hours per day.
