At UNTAG, we think gender-affirming clothing should empower the people who wear it and respect the world we live in. Sustainability has always been a big part of how we design, make and ship our products. We're not done yet, so here's what we're already doing and what's coming next.
Mindful materials
Every product starts with the fabric we choose. Most of our fabrics come from Italy and Belgium, which means premium quality and shorter transport distances within Europe. We look for materials that are high-quality and long-lasting, so your binders, underwear and other items can be worn and washed many times without losing their shape. Some of our fabrics are made with recycled yarns, like recycled polyamide, which cuts down on waste and on the use of new materials.
Responsible production
All our garments are proudly made in Europe, mostly in Poland, together with trusted partners who know how important ethical working conditions are. We stay in close contact with our production sites, so we can make sure there are fair labour practices, safe workplaces and a transparent process. When our suppliers have dead-stock fabrics available, we try to use them, which lets us make limited edition products. We're also looking into ways to lower the footprint of dyeing and finishing by working with suppliers who focus on using less water and safer chemicals.
Designed to last
Fast fashion creates waste, and we design to push back against it. UNTAG garments are made to last, so you can feel confident investing in pieces that stick around. A well-designed binder or pair of tucking underwear affirms who you are, and it also becomes something you can count on every day. Want to know more about how our products come to life? Conscious and discreet shipping
Packaging and shipping play a big role in sustainability. We use minimal, recyclable packaging and keep looking for ways to lower our carbon footprint when we ship. And of course, your order always arrives in discreet packaging, so you can feel comfortable and secure when it lands on your doorstep.

Sustainability in our office
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop at production. It's part of our everyday office life too. We make conscious choices that cut down on waste and energy, and that make for a healthier way of working:

We eat vegetarian lunches together and often share food as a team

We avoid waste and single-use items by using regular cutlery, cups and plates, which we wash by hand every day

We rarely use air conditioning, unless it's too hot to function
