Instructions

Before you apply the tape, we advise you to first perform a patch test. This helps check how your skin reacts to the material. Take a small piece of tape and apply it to clean, dry skin. Leave this test strip on for 24 to 48 hours, checking regularly for any signs of irritation. If irritation occurs, remove the tape immediately and discontinue use.


Use

You can use this tape to attach breast prostheses to your body. When applying or removing the tape, handle with care to help avoid damage to the prosthesis or skin. We recommend using the Double Sided Transparent Tape together with prosthesis pockets, as this helps reduce direct contact between the adhesive and the prosthesis surface. Using the tape directly on silicone prostheses may increase surface wear over time.

The Double Sided Transparent Tape is intended for external skin contact and can also be used as fashion tape. Apply the adhesive side to your skin first, then remove the top layer before positioning the prosthesis.

Remove the tape before sleeping or showering. If you experience skin irritation or discomfort at any point, remove the tape and discontinue use.

 

Placement of Breast Prostheses with Double Sided Transparent Tape
Do not place the breast prosthesis directly over the nipple. Instead, position it slightly over and towards the outside, so the nipple sits roughly near the center of the prosthesis. In terms of height, breast prostheses often appear more natural when placed slightly lower on the chest rather than high up.

 

A helpful guideline:

  • start slightly below the nipple

  • adjust gradually while checking placement in the mirror

  • ensure both sides appear balanced, without needing to be perfectly identical


Removing Double Sided Transparent Tape

Most irritation can occur if the tape is removed too quickly or without preparation. To remove the tape, apply a neutral oil (such as jojoba oil) along the tape and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Gently peel the tape away from the skin. This can also be done while showering.

 

Storage

Store the Double Sided Transparent Tape in a dry, cool place. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
